I believe that the background takes away from it. There is all this colour and texture in the background, yet the focal point is small and blends in with the road, and in the case of the bird obscured. Then there is the issue of the curb going straight through his head.

Great slice of time. The motion you've captured with the boy in the air is wonderful.

the bus is distracting and seems to catch my eye first, which i dont think was youre goal. but cute pic!
